AROC Guidelines
The following rules are for all Discord servers affiliated with A Realm of Conquest.
All group members alike are expected to follow the rules, regardless of their position. All server members are to follow the Discord ToS and Discord Guidelines.
I. Hate Speech
Any form of hate speech is prohibited. This includes, but not limited to attacking a person or group based on attributes such as their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, sexual orientation, or disabilities.
- Use of Racist, Antisemitic, or homophobic language.
- Encouragement of harassment or violence against a person or group of people based on the attributes stated above.
- Use of hate speech shall result initially in a 24 (Twenty-Four) hour mute.
- A second repetition of this action shall result in a 3 (Three) day ban.
- Any further repetition of this action shall result in a permanent ban.
II. Not Safe for Work (NSFW)
Any form of NSFW content is prohibited. This includes, but not limited to any image, audio, text or video which contains content labeled as NSFW.
- Use of a NSFW profile picture.
- Sending any NSFW content via direct messages with this discord as a mutual server.
- Sending any NSFW for content via text channels.
- Display of any NSFW content via voice chat in the Discord.
- Use of NSFW content shall result initially in a 3 (Three) day ban.
- A second repetition of this action shall result in a 7 (Seven) day ban.
- Any further repetition of this action shall result in a permanent ban.
III. Staff Impersonation
Impersonation of members of the Staff Team is prohibited. This includes impersonating any member of the team within any Discord server affiliated with AROC or within someone's direct messages.
- Staff Impersonation shall result initially in a 7 (Seven) day ban.
- Any further repetition of this action shall result in a permanent ban.
IV. Text & Media Spam
Any form of text and media spam is prohibited. This includes, but not limited to sending large amount of undue or unsolicited text or media. This shall further include walls of text.
- Spamming text or media shall result in a warning initially.
- Should the action continue, then the person in question shall be muted for a period of 1 (One) hour.
- Every further repetition of this action shall result in a 6 (Six) hour mute.
V. Bot Usage
The usage of the bots shall only be permitted in the specified channels, such as #bot-commands and #verification. Any usage of bot commands outside of the designated channels is prohibited.
- Using bot commands outside of the designated channels shall result initially in a 1 (One) hour mute.
- Every further repetition of this action shall result in a 6 (Six) hour mute.
VI. Advertisement
Inviting a person or a group of people to a non-affiliated Discord server, place, or group. Advertisement is prohibited. This should already be impossible for discord invite links.
- Advertisement shall result in a 3 (Three) day ban initially.
- Any further repetition of this action shall result in a permanent ban.
VII. Internet & Security Privacy
Threats to internet privacy or security shall be defined as threatening others with harm using any method. Such threats shall not be permitted and include, but are not limited to:
- Threatening of use or encouragement of ddosing, swatting, phishing, or the spread of malware/viruses.
- Threatening of use or encouragement of doxxing or any other form of leaking one's private information.
- Threatening of use or encouragement of IP Grabbers.
- Threats to one's internet privacy or security shall result in a permanent ban.
